I loved this open style five-decade rosary when I first saw it on Pinterest.

So I decided to make one!

I really love the way it dangles like a big tassel.

This is a full five-decade rosary but the decades are not connected like a traditional rosary.

There are five strands of 10 beads.

Each strand has a larger Father bead at the top.

That end is attached to a silver-toned metal connector.

The decade beads are 6mm teal blue colored glass pearls.

The Father beads are 8mm pink and blue crackled glass beads.

The beads are hand-wired into the strands using eye pins and a looper tool.

This is not store-bought rosary chain.

The dangles are connected using small bits of chain.

Above the heart-shaped connector are three 6mm glass pearls, a reversible Blessed Virgin Mary Madonna /Our Lady of Lourdes medal, then a Father bead, then an Italian-made crucifix.

All findings, centers, and crucifixes are silver toned metal.
